I have been jumping store to store trying to find out what I can get for macroalgae species, I want to build a nice display for pods to breed in. These are some of the species I found at one store...I had to Google them as none are labeled it is all sold by the bunch. I think I could definitely do something cool with all these. There was a palm tree/feather caulerpa just out of frame. In this photo I think I have codium, cryptonemia crenulata, blue/purple ochtodes, they also had sea grapes, flat caulerpa, and chaeto.

Many online vendors have a good selection. Imo the best is www.live-plants.com. $16 shipping or so per conus order.

Their companion site had a lot of good info.

I tried Caulerpa prolifera and sertularoides; they did not work in my display. I think it would better in a fuge; where the flow is more moderate.

I need to be careful of what kind of snails and shrimp I put in with this stuff. I may work this into my display instead.
