For sale:

Very rare, very beautiful iridescent macro. Base color is red and the top of the macroalgae is highly iridescent. Depending on the light and direction it will reflect blue, silver, gold, green. See the video link below to watch the iridescence. Medium to high flow, medium to high light. Higher light will bring out brighter and more colorful iridescence to it, in lower light it will retain some color shimmer but will be mostly red. Will attach itself to the rockwork. $25 for a 1" frag. Very limited supply as this macro grows incredibly slowly.

Awesome macroalgae 2 - YouTube

Orange tipped dragon's tongue Halymenia macroalgae ($20 per frag). This macro is incredibly beautiful, its growth is flame shaped, red with new growth tips being orange. I am selling bushes ~3" across. Note: it is viewed as a very tasty snack by herbivores like tangs, and cannot be kept in a tank with them.

Pic of the macro in my tank:

Red Halymenia ($10 per frag). This macroalgae has a much different growth pattern than the orange tipped Halymenia and is a solid red color. It grows long, will grow 2' - 3' (yes, feet) long in the right tank/conditions. Flows wonderfully in the current. Frags are 3-4" long single strands. Herbivores like tangs will eat this macro as well.

Shipping is $7, arrive alive guarantee with photo of dead macro in bag.

All PM's responded to. Sorry Reef.ductionist, but I can't ship to Canada.

Sold out of the iridescent macro, I still have the dragon's tongue and red halymenia available.

Do we have a scientific name for the iridescent macro?

No, its too hot to ship from Texas right now.

Where in Texas are you located? I'm new to the hobby and live in Texas...looking for some frags
