Display tablet yes or no and if so, which one?

I want to put a display tablet on my controller board in my fish room. I would connect it to my Apex and use it to display various tank parameters that I can look at often. Also, could I use it to access the my Apex and make changes within the programming? Does Apex connect really well to tablets? If so, which tablet would you recommend? Thanks

Any tablet with a wifi connection will be able to do this for you. You can connect locally over your wifi to apex fusion. Just go to [your tank name].local in your web browser on any computer or tablet connected to the same wifi network as the apex. For example, mine is custom_120g.local. This can be found under host name in your network settings on the app.

Regarding the tablet itself, I’m partial to the apple ipad, but if your only purpose for the tablet will be as a stationary monitor for apex, you can probably use anything and will save a lot of money going the android route.
