I was wondering what rule of thumb all yall follow when it comes to placement of LPS corals. How close to zoa's or if you put different colors of the same kind together like different color acans or trumpet corals.

That really depends on the species. I have blastos touching a cynarina and don't had any issues at all besides a bit of shading. But euphyllias have a nasty sting and I wouldn't let them near anything else that wasn't a euphyllia too. An inch or 2 longer than any sweeper tentacles would be a good start, but I'd say it depends purely on the species
