Ditching Vortech MP60 for Tunze. Which ones?

In the last year, I've had two mp60's with two defective wet sides. Now a dry side is going bad and shut off yesterday, requiring a reboot. I'm sick of dealing with the problems, so I'm looking at replacing with Tunze.

Should I get some Stream 3's or 6255's?

Either of those could be really good options, but if you can post a tank shot and let us know of any improvements in flow that you'd like out of the change, that would help!

I️ have a 600 gallon tank and I️ have 4 6155 that I️ have ran for five years love them and I️ put them on sea sweep the 6255 I️ think the opening is to big. That’s my opinion I️ have try all and I️ always stay with tunze

If my tank were big enough, I’d love to run a pair of Stream 3s, so my 6095s will have to do. You should definitely check with Slief on RC, when it comes to Tunze powerheads, he really knows his stuff.

I jumped on the 15% off sale BRS is having. Their 6150 stock dropped from 60 something to 20 in a couple hours, so I pounced on 4.

Now, where do I put them? I've got 3/4" acrylic, plenty of back wall space behind rockwork, and also overflows angled 45 degrees across the back corners.

For 3/4" tanks, do I need to purchase two sets of magnet extensions for each pump?

That's peculiar wording. Without the deflector and grating, would it be enough for 3/4" glass, as is?

Now that you mention it, that might be a typo....15mm is a lot closer to .5" than .66". I'm pretty sure you need upgraded magnets. (And I'm almost sure I've seen Roger answer this question before....needs to be searched.)
