is still top notch.

Ordered two fish from DD (first time since they were sold to Petco) and was a little anxious about it but their packaging and quality have not declined, at least on this order.

This is the package the flame wrasse came in. Eight bags, half crimped on top and half on bottom. Several sealed with some type of heat sealer. Interestingly the two fish were not packaged the same although they were rougly the same size. The more expensive wrasse was in this package and the $49 Atlantic Blue Tang was in about 1/2 the amount of water. Both arrived looking great and very vigorous. Diver's Den is still at the top of my list, at least for fish acquisitions.

thanks for the report, i have been a bit hesitant since the acquisition as well.

was the blue tang also from the dives den or just LA? curious about the difference in packaging...

Yes the tang was also a DD. I'm guessing the difference is related to price rather than other factors since the wrasse was 5x the price of the tang. It would have taken the next bigger size shipping container to put them both in the larger bags.
