I have had a not so pleasant experience from them but I think I am in the minority. I received a fish with an obvious blemish on it that was not listed in the description and for the life of me I couldn't get anyone to address it. After over two weeks and multiple phone calls and emails it basically got to the point where I said screw it and moved on. At the end of it all I emailed them that I was more upset with the customer service than I was with the fish but I never received a response from that. But like I said I think I am in the minority in that regard.

And the fish did come in with flukes but that wasn't that big of deal since I was expecting to do a qt.

The advantage is the eating part. You still need to qt but it is worth the extra money especially with hard to get eating fish such as Copperbands.

My healthiest fish have come fron DD. Never had a DOA... never had any parasites or diseases. Fish always showed up eating frozen or live foods. DD is my go to for fish.

I still always qt!

Quarantine/conditioning aside, LiveAqauaria/Divers Den is most useful when you can take advantage of specials. Free shipping @ 99$ is a great deal depending on what you're looking for.
Surprisingly, the free shipping doesn't mean you have to order everything on the order from either DD or LA. I have ordered one fish from DD and others from LA on the same order for more then $99 and got free shipping on both, even though one fish came from Wisconsin and the others came from CA. My last order included 3 shrimp which happened to be out of stock at the time. They shipped the fish and a few days later shipped the 3 shrimp - all free shipping. I have even ordered their inverts which come from Florida at the same time as fish. The fish came from CA, the inverts came from FL and both went to UPS in Louisville, KY and then both to Tulsa and then both to AR and arrived together in about 15 hours. They always arrive between 10:00 and 10:30 AM.

Yeah it's really a great service but really depends on what you're ordering too. A 3" purple tang for 249$ with free shipping isn't really justified verse buying from @NYAquatic for ~130$ shipped.

9 of my current 12 fish from DD, and 3 of them from LA. I have been very impressed. The fish from DD eat quickly and have all seemed healthy and active. The fish from LA haven't been much of a step down in my experience. I did have one fish death from DD (would have been 10 fish form DD without it), but it was a freak thing... the fish sustained a spinal injury that was evident as soon as he was released into my QT - and of course that was all she wrote. But it was replaced without any hassle at all, and even though the replacement was from LA (DD fish are one of a kind, you can't replace them directly from DD), it's healthy, active, and doing well in my QT.

I would highly recommend... just listen to everyone's advice and please QT your fish no matter where you get them from.
