I had a brand new 18" Pacific Sun Media Reactor laying around and I thought I would try a chaeto reactor. I ended up not being a fan because of where I had to fit the reactor and how much plumbing was needed to get there. It only ran for about a week, and I did get some growth but ultimately took it down.
It consists of 6 Aluminum heatsinks, each housing about 16" of 24v strip LED grow lights. Total wattage is about 60 watts of light power. It is seriously bright in there. I had it wired up as 2 different channels (3 strips each), each on their own 24v accessory port on my APEX EB832. (The buyer can specify if they want it to work on 2 channels with the APEX accessory ports, or with a single brick power supply). It was then wrapped twice in a matte white vinyl wrap to hold in the light, with 1 section cut out to view the inside.
With Brick power supply - $250 shipped
With Apex cables for ACC ports - $280 shipped
