DIY 36 gal bowfront canopy??

I have never made one myself but have built lots of stuff. What are you planing to build it out of?

If out of wood you could go a couple of different ways. You could use a steam box then clamp the wood into the shape you need. Or you could cut the wood into 1/4 - 1/2" strips coat them in glue and clamp the laminated wood into the shape you need.

We were wanting to use wood, just didn't know how to bend the plywood on the front.

HERE is the link to the canopy build for a JBJ 28. It too has a bowed front. In this thread it will show you how to bend plywood in an arc.

Anybody got one for sale for 36 gallon

Where do you live? I don't have one, but I enjoy a new challenge in the woodshop!
l looks like a long way from you and shipping would be outrageous. I live in Tampa, Fl. Thanks for the offer. If you had one to sell them maybe worth the shipping but to build one and make a profit plus shipping would be a lot. Hubby said he would build one but He seems to be backtracking..lol

Google "Woodcraft" to see if there's one in your area. I'd bet that the people there could give you a couple names of people down there that could help you out.

Good Luck!!!
