Hey folks, I've been playing around with small DIY reactors for over a year now, and I have installed quite a few in different aquariums. And I thought I'd share the latest design, which you can grab and print if you like at https://www.printables.com/model/292376-aquarium-reactor

There's also a lot of information about it there as well.

Cost of materials isn't too bad:

Acrylic Tube: 4" x 3" OD 2 3/4" ID : $6
Pump at Amazon: $11
3D plastic: ~$4
Laser cut Acrylic pieces: ~$4

So, it's under $30 all-in if you have a 3D printer and a Laser cutter.

That is pretty cool. Just think, you could put in a venturi air inlet and you could create an oxygen reactor for all of the people that are running a protein skimmer for gas exchange instead of skimming.
