DIY acclimation box

I want a new clownfish for my tank although I already have one. I was told to use an acclimation box for it so my other clown doesn’t attack it for a few days then fully acclimate it. Anybody made one by themselves? I don’t want to spend a crap ton of money on an acrylic one on Amazon. send pics

How big of a box do you want? If you already have the acrylic that's one thing, but to buy the sheet of acrylic and diy, it's about the same price for a box. I use this one for small fish acclimation, I was pairing a tomato clown male with female that I already had. It did the job, I own two of them currently.

If you have egg crate, you can make one with that and zip ties. You’ll need a magnet or suction cups to attach it, or something you can use to hang on the glass. Otherwise the net style ones are super inexpensive. Something like this works ok:

add holes to one of those $10 critter keepers at petco and stick it on using a magfloat or flipper.
