DIY Acrylic sump

I have a 54 gallon Corner Tank and stand, it's shaped like a Triangle. I am considering building a triangle shape sump to go into the stand. This will be my 1st attempt at any project using acrylic. My question is this, Have any of you used this acrylic sheet and is it satisfactory quality?

I usually purchase through a company. It should be fine.

I would not use that for a water vessel. arkema Plexiglas g, or Plexiglas pmacs.
