So in my growing need for phyto/brine/rotifiers I came to the conclusion I needed to make my own.

I went to the gas station and the attendant was throwing away a metal display rack that once housed 5 hr Energy Drink. I asked him if i could have it and he was cool and handed it right over. (even though I coulda just dumpster dived, but this saved a few squirts of bleach.)

At the time i just wanted it for my porch to hold crap...but then realized if it holds laundry detergent jugs, it can hold other kinds of jugs. I then collected all my empty juice bottles and gathered lights, air hose, pump, and sat it all on it.
Crap, only one air pump and one gang valve that only has 2 outputs....ok, time to use my brain.

I had 3 64 oz bottles and i needed them all to bubble. 3-2=1 missing source of air. I am a musician, and have a ton of equipment linked together, so I transfered my skills from electricity to air flow.
I poked 2 holed in all three lids and screwed them on the jugs.

The concept was to make air go in one jug, then exit into the next, until the last jug out a vent hose at the end.

Here is how I routed my hose.
HOSE 1: Air pump>Gang valve in(one side is closed until I add 3 more jugs the same way)
HOSE 2: Gang valve out 1 to Bottle 1 (the hose is ran to the bottom of the jug)
HOSE 3: Bottle 1 to bottle 2 (The hose only goes in 1 inch on Bottle 1 and to the bottom of Bottle 2)
HOSE 4: Bottle 2 to Bottle 3 the same way as hose 3.
HOSE 5: Sticks in Bottle 3 one inch and points upwards to vent air.

After I did that I thought of a few ways to feed the stuff with out turning off the bubbles.
I found an old (no idea what it is called) Water bubbling device from an oxygen machine. Essentially a small version of a single jug I made. I thought to myself, what can I do to feed the Plankton with this???? This is purely a test to see what happens:

I filled it 1/3 of the way up with sand and tap water so that there was about 1/4 inch of water ontop of the sand. I connected this device before the Gangvalve inline with the air pump, thus making an air powered FBF (fluidized Bed Filter) which in my idea should turn anything I put in it into natural miracle grow for any plankton. I am not a scientist, but I am insane. Sometimes it works for me and sometimes it works against me. More often it works on my behalf, so this could be a good addition to the Home Culturing Process.

Due to my Droid point of sale phone i am not able to add pics yet, it has to regroup its thoughts I think, I just play BAD PIGGIES so much it burns my hand. AMAZING GAME BY THE WAY, just dont play it around children, the language is terrible....and its not even the game, it causes some very psychotic episodes from even the nunniest of women. I have seen it.

Pics my good man, PICS! :) Need to see this one!

Im working on it, my droid 2 global has about had it. It likes to be picky about when it wants to connect. COuld be all that saltcreep hahahahah

Ok, here are some pictures.

The bottles seem to bubble better tilted forward.
The light is mounted behind them, blinding me.
The air pump in on a small board.
The "Plankonic Food Supply" is on the small shelf above the pump

Still playing around of course. I only have Brine in the 3rd chamber to see if there is enough o2 by the time the air makes it there. No need to test, if they live it works right?
