Hey everyone I'm building an algae reactor. None of the home improvement stores in my area carry the red/blue led tape light. Could I use the color changing stuff and just hit it with blue and red alternating??

I thInk marine depot sells a kit for a reasonable price tag
lol was just curious and as far as light output couldnt I just wrap the reactor with tighter coils? More coils equals more LEDs which means more light out put.
