Just wanted to post a few things and ideas for aquariums I’ve done. I like the diy projects to add to an already interesting hobby. Here’s a few pics of stuff I’ve recently 3d printed for aquariums. Let me know your thoughts and ideas!

Tapered and stepped frag plugs. Can be made any shape or size

Glass brackets for people who like the looks of a rimless tank but would like to put a top over it to keep evaporation down or in my case to remove a factory evo hood to mount a better light above the tank.

Handles to double stick or glue onto a glass top for easier removal. Again color shape and size fully customizable!

Brackets for diy auto top off project float switches

I don’t have any pics but I have a printed filter basket in chamber two of my evo testing it out right now to see if I want to change the design.

Let me know what other ideas you guys have for diy projects!

I recently made this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3786853 , very similar but with some minor modification to make it easy swap in/out float switches. I wire the switches with audio connectors, which is why i cant take them out through the hole

Nice! These look very useful.
I just got a 3d printer and hope to get it set up soon. Are these on thingiverse (and tagged) or anywhere?

I’m sure you can find some of these things online. I drew my own up and printed them
