Wanted to post a few pictures of a past project. I started with an aqueon 15 column tank and had a black plexi-glass partition cut which I used to create an all-in-one. I've since added a cpr hob refugium with a tunze protein skimmer, miracle mud, and caulerpa. The stock florescent were changed out for led lights. The live rocks are epoxied together to make removal of them quick and easy. This is a FOWLR tank but it was a fun and successful build. These are progress and test pics through the build.

I know this is an older thread but to the O.P. Did you cut out the plastic "brace bar" that was on the top trim? The one that is offset and more toward the back.

Was wondering the same thing?

Poriferabob, did you end up cutting the brace?

Just got a good deal on a used aqueon 15 gallon column aquarium but the brace is damaged. Was thinking about doing a mod similar to this for support.
