DIY bubble fish trap

The company that sells a trap exactly like this calls it a "bubble trap". Google it.

Still, most people in this hobby will refer to a "bubble trap" as a way to stop microbubbles from flowing through your sump back into your display. Typically it's a set of off-set acrylic panels that allow the bubbles to get trapped and not continuing through the sump.
