I found a plastic container that I think would be a good diy carbon reactor. The problem I'm finding is the right size of the top connectors for the tubing. I am finding half inch fittings but I feel that half inch fittings will be a little large to fit on the lid. 1/4 fittings would be a better fit but can't find any at all. Any ideas where I could find any?

Look at John Guest fittings at your Home Depot/lowes they should be small enough if its a flat surface.

I was debating building my own reactor. I was going to use 1/4" mulock type bulkheads.

Here's the container. Could I have it coming in from the top the out on the side?

The side of the container is probably too round for anything hard to make a good seal. I would suggest a uniseal if you want to go out of the side.
