DIY Cheato Reactor On-Going

Hello,

I will update this thread if I remember with the results.

I made a DIY Reactor for my 20G L, primarily to help control PH swing, not for nutrient export, as I have very low nutrient anyways, but I wont cry if I get some more nutrient export out.

Anyways yes, back to the thread, so standard reactor, I'm not going to cover building it.

Get Media Chamber,
Get Pump,
Get LED strip,
Get Power Supply,


I put in just a little bit, like I'm talking a pinch, because it was from someone-else tank and I wanted to make sure it was cleaned off / rinsed before going into my tank.

Anyways, here is 1 day of result, looking good.

What's kinda cool is that my algea reactor can keep my tank warm at 79 degrees right now with the house temperature at what it is.

Growth is good, Ill post my logs later.

I expected my PO4 to be at 0.04 it was at 0 s o ill take my phosguard out next water change.

Stopping the reactor for a bit. The cheato I got must have had dino's or something on it, so I'm going to try vibrant. I removed most of the cheato if it survives cool.
