So i bought a milwaukee probe to measure my ph constantly.. i had a ph of 7.9-8 normally.. i got a airline and connected the skimmer outside and got the ph up to 8.2 and upon dosing kh it got to 8.3 i was real happy to see that.

I tryed to make my own co2 scrubber and followed all the tips and tricks and ended up with worse ph then when i drew the air from outside. my ph sits at 8.1 from morning and now its dinner time here, lights are going out in 3 hours and i hope i get a higher ph by then..

My video shows the build ive made but i dont get why i dont have a better ph then the air from outside.. any tips on it would be greatly appreciate it!

Anything in the 8.x is great. Why chase the #?
In pretty happy with the pH I got now, I'm just wondering why I don't have the same or better pH with co2 media, i thought it would fly through the roof at 8.5 and i would have to strangle the pH..I'm thinking if i haven't sealed it tight could it probably pull a bit of room air? From all the videos and posts about co2 scrubber i thought it would be more of an pH than this
