DIY Dosing Container

Hello Reefing Community,
Quick question. Would quart mason (Ball) jars be acceptable for use as dosing containers? I was concerned about the metal lids. Just weighing my options. Thanks folks

I would stay away from anything metal. I originally used juice jugs, that would otherwise go to the recycler, but now use plastic containers I got from Walmart that have wide mouths....making refilling very easy. I think these containers are advertised for cereals.....works great.
