DIY fish/reef frozen food

Just like to stop in and say happy Saturday. Hopefully everyone is having a good day. Not much going on over here but mixing up some food. Was going to get raw shellfish from the market, but local store had a big mixed bag and was able to get it really cheap. Would have still cost less buying from the fish market but saved me some time, work, and the smell as the wife is getting home soon lol.

Picture is missing a few more packs, but this is a big blend for the fish and frags. Just need more fish and coral in the tank to eat this up lol.

I was feeding live when I could get them regularly, more of a treat to them now. They go crazy for this, added a few different things this time and removed some that were similar to each other

DIY fish food can lead to a Phosphate factory...

Most frozen seafood at grocery deli counter comes from the processing plant heavily spray with Phosphates bc it keep seafood moist and fresh.

Human consumption of Phosphate is a non factor to human health but aids the taste of freshness and longevity of seafood

Those Phosphates in your tank will create GHA in a matter of days.

I once diced up frozen mussel meat from the deli and by the end of the week I started to see GHA. PO4 jumped to nearly 3-5ppm
