Looks good! I like the texture you created in the foam. Did you use rock salt for that?

Thanks I used water softening salt crystals to make the texture.

I still will be coating the foam with an epoxy that I need to acquire and applying aragonite to it while wet so it covers up the black foam and seal it a bit better. This will be a project with multiple steps.

I think i found an epoxy that will work to cover the black foam and allow the aragonite to stick

Coated with epoxy and aragonite my only regret is not using my used dry aragonite since I think the color contrast would be less of a visual issue but time will cure that.

Test fitting ill silicone it in place then foam the sides in and then cover in aragonite so it looks better.

Thanks i hope I can get it looking better.

I'm going to put extra foam in the seam of the wall and tank so it overflows out making areas to mount some SPS frags.

So I did a bit more work on the foam rock wall tonight.

I foamed in the gap between the glass and the wall while trying to give it some dimension and spots that I can mount montipora caps on.

Overall im very pleased with the results so far.

Some pics of the tank with the salt rinsed off now i have to wait for it to dry then I can coat in epoxy and aragonite.

I also have a foam background and just discovered how to mount corals on wall I used a piece of plastic spoon or fork and glued monti frag to it and poked into foam and is doing good so far. Your wall looks good!

Thanks for the tip of how to mount frags on it as well as the compliment on the wall.

I cant wait to get some frags set up and grown on it.

The aragonite on fresh epoxy when it dries i will brush off the excess aragonite then the wall should be done and I will just have to figure out what stand i want and how to mount the led light.
