DIY saves a TON of money especially when you factor In shipping costs.
Read many recipes here and took advice from a few hobbyists. It's simple and cheap
I spent around $40 over 8 months ago and still have ingredients in my freezer for a new batch after having made a batch just two days ago. Those original ingredients may make it more than a full year.
