I finally decided to make a 2 tiered frag rack for all the corals that are getting fragged lately.

List of materials:
Light diffuser
Cutters
Pvc pipe for legs (although I opted out of that option)
4 inch zip ties
Tape measure (I ended up counting squares after the initial measurements)

Time: 2 hours (probably less if you don't have cats)

Step 1
Gather all the stuff!

Step 2
Make your measurements of the tank - sort of obvious, don't make it too big lol

Step 3
Start cutting!

Step 4
Once you have your pieces, start zip tying together.

Also, at the same time of cutting, I made the second tier as well.

Last step, cut off the extra zip tie pieces

I put a small piece on the bottom to stabilize the bottom.

And that's it :)
It was pretty easy-If I can do it, anyone can lol

Nice job.

:)
thanks everyone, I had a lot left over so I think Ill make a little media caddy.

I recently built a skimmer stand out of the same materials on my temporary set up!

I just made a little holding cage for new fish into the dt with the same materials! Can't go wrong with egg crate and zip ties
I have the same. Learned it from this Asian guy that was introducing tangs that fight so that they can learn each other and the fish not b hiding or running and never get feed and u could see he tangs wanting 2 go for it. 1 reason I say ways from tangs and there low slime coat. I wanna get a regal for my new 75 I'm setting up that's a baby but inknkw there constant eaters and nippers so all I have are 2 clowns a spotted mandarin. Like the low feeding. But I keep egg crate on stock at my house. So many uses.

My little frag rack. Used crate for the legs and need 2 pull it out and clean it as cyano is growing on the points where it was cut. Idk if u can clear coat them or use nail polish on the exposed edges but idk if snails or anything will eat it as that's y I left it white was goin 2 use krylon black paint but red snails can eat it. Non toxic but will so didn't

Do you have a side view of the cutters you use? I use sheet metal cutters and they can be a pain sometimes. Always looking to make things easier.

Nice build by the way. I have a similar rack, you can never have enough egg crate!!
