I have a DIY LED fixture for sale, used it over my tank for about 4 months. It has 17 blues and 6 whites so it's on the blue side but I found that if it was about 8-10" above water it blended well. They are 3w Cree LED's along with 2 drivers (not dimmable) in a case that measures 17" long and just under 8" wide. The way the guy had it that I bought it from has the drivers on top on the sides along with a fan right in the top middle. If you weren't putting it in a canopy then the drivers could be easily moved.
I can't say it is the greatest build but I didn't build it
Worked great over my 60g cube. I also have 10-12 60 or 80 degree optics that will come with it.
