I was looking for a way to simply mount my SBreeflight 32" over the tank and have it be easy for me to move out of the way without hanging from the ceiling as the fish tank is in my entryway. I struggled with different ideas for a while I finally ended up with a solution.

I thought I would share my solution using a slightly modified tv wall mount bracket and cutting a piece of black track lighting. All in i estimate i spent less then $40 and about 2 hours to complete.

I like how it turned out as i can easily adjust and move the light as i desire. Including just pushing it out of the way toward the wall when i want better access for cleaning.

That looks terrific...nice job.

Did you have to get a bigger TV so you could use that mount? Just kidding. I have used a similar excuse.

Nice!

It looks like you are using carabiners; is that true? This is one of the nicest wall mounts I have seen...

Hey bud, is there any way you can post a list of what exactly you used such as brands/sizes and how you put it together? I recently bought 2 of the 32s and have been going back and forth with how i want to mount.
