Two most inportant piece of information is missing - what chips (power), and for what tank size?

For my experience, and for me best worked combo of royal blue-20000k white, 2:1 ratio, and 400-420 uv, 0.5 ratio....

Meaning for example - 20 royal blue, 10 white, 5uv.... Last "module" i was building years ago i do with 10w chips (chinese noname), and in that exact config - 350w per module, 2 modules for 450l tank (150x50x60)....

Of course, leds runs at 40-50% of power, but for coverage i have to use more leds (power) than i really needed....

Hi,
the tank is 200x60x60 and i ordered most of the colors 3W Cree Leds and the other one no name ..
I want to rebuild 3 old chinese LED aquarium lights with leds .. so that i use 165 Leds ! Control with GHL Profilux

Don't you think that 2:1 is too white?

Really dont know, i guess it all depends on led chip, these chips i used are rated 20000k and looks rather blue.

Matter of personal preference, i personaly didnt find necessary to bother with other colours, especialy with 3w leds, one or two green, red, yellow, will have verry little impact, if any, on overral colors, maybe im wrong, but like i said - never find them usefull.

Old school - blue and white, uv for pop, and thats it.....
