Who has made a lid for their aquarium that has a built in overflow where the plumbing is raised just enough that the standard lid will not cover it? The lid that came with tank is glass and doesn't cover the back 1/3 of the tank and I need a completely concealed lid for the species I am putting in the tank. Please drop a picture of your set up if you have done something for this!

Here is a picture for reference- I have tried manipulating the plumbing to allow me to make a more conventional lid but it is to no avail. We have a hood that goes on top of this making it a little more challenging to come up with a lid solution.

Make one out of acrylic. long flat piece that will cover the whole area. But then add 1/4 or so to each edge to raise it up. picture a shoe box upside down with no lid.

Thats what my husband was suggesting but the issue we run into with that design is the brace on the hood that runs along the back

The hood also fits snugly around the sides and If I set the whole piece of like a shoe box style then the hood wouldn’t fit over the sides
