So I was doing my research on a way to hang my lights in my garage for a clean and hopefully least amount of wires as possible. I came across a photo which is not mine (if you are the owner and request removal I will do so). I would like to do something similiar and want to know what kind of material this is.

Any help identifying the material would be helpful and where i can find it.

aluminum, angle. Looks just like angle iron but made of aluminum. Was thinking of doing the same thing saw this a little while back. Looks simple enough.

Material should be available at a lowes or home depot. I ended up getting something liek those from denaults hardware. Just was closer to me.

Yep...angle aluminium. I recently bought some for the same thing. Pretty easy to work with & drill. This one does look very nice!

They have that stuff at Lowes.
It's called steelworks aluminum. They come in various thickness and lengths for the L brackets.
I think 8' of it was around $7 when I bought it.

man...i spent roughly 2 hours at home depot looking for t his stuff and didnt find anything. I guess tomorrow i will spend some time at home depot.
