DIY marine aquarium lighting
Hello everyone,
I am in Bulgaria and decided to start with a saltwater aquarium because I really like beautiful sea corals and fish.
After spending a lot of money on the aquarium and filters, pumps, etc., it turned out that I was almost broke. After much thought, I decided to make my own lighting for my future reef aquarium. The prices of 1000-2000 euros for Lighting System are impossible for me. So I looked at the devices of these extremely expensive lights, took a piece of paper and a pen and hastily sketched out my lamp. Necessary materials: 1. Aluminum profile for LED strip; 2. Diodes with different wavelengths (400-700nm, 20000 K); 3 Controller for sunrise and sunset modes with 5 adjustable channels; 4. 24 V drivers and power supplies; 5. 24 V fans. And I got to work.

1. Aluminum profile for LED strip - optional from a lighting store
2. Diodes --- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/327...der_detail.order_detail_item.3.32abf19cRUiclz
3. Sunrise and sunset mode controller with 5 adjustable channels --- https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...086a31eb-0598-4cc2-b2c7-89195068e288&algo_exp _id=086a31eb-0598-4cc2-b2c7-89195068e288-0&pdp_npi=3%40dis%21BGN%2177.48%2154.24%21%21%21310.79%21%21%40211bf3f116899228127717076d076 8%2112000034477639041%21sea%21BG%211663412421&curPageLogUid=L73yFsvLuaBG
4. Mean Weel HLG-240H-24A - 1 piece
4.1. Mean Weel LDD - 700LW --- 5 pieces
4.2. Mean Weell LDD - 1200LW --- 5 pieces

For the 700 mV drivers, you connect up to 7 diodes in series. For the 1200mv drivers, you connect 14 diodes in parallel, 7 each. You can connect one 700mv driver and one 1200mv driver to each channel. The red and IR diodes are connected to one channel because they have a voltage of 2-2.6 volts.
5. Optional 24 volt fans

enjoy

Nice lighting
This is my first time doing a marine aquarium. Nothing is clear to me, I read many articles and forums, but I make so many mistakes that at 68 days there is still no cyclic aquarium. But I do not despair, my patience is limitless and I will still be able to put fish and corals someday.
Greetings!!!
