DIY Media reactor

Starting a new tank project and was going to make my own upflow reactors have made them before for other people. If anyone interested I will post instructions on how to usually cost less then $60 and you can make them any size

Why?

-why?- because most reef tank I have seen us some type of upflow reactor (carbon,gfo,phosban,fluidized bed) and if you like me and have nothing smaller then a 150 gal tank usually you have to spend $100 plus for just one reactor. So if you make one for haft of what it cost to buy one means more money for corals/fish. Plus custom making one aloud you to make one that will fit were store bought ones will not

All parts are ez to get nothing custom made ...if you have cut/glued pvc you can make this under 30min

Grate price..... but like I shared before if you run bigger tanks it hard to fit all the media in those (ie I have 150 gal tank and if I want to use let say chemipure elite if you read there instructions you would need to use at lest 6 of the jars so you would need 3 of those to make it work) not saying they are a bad reactor I have used them but all I am try to do on this tread is help people with the cost on equipment

What is the semi-clear tube made of?

It just clear pvc...I had to work really late the last few days I will do a write up but soon as I can
