DIY mount for hydra 26 lights

I’m looking for ideas to mount 2 hydra 26 lights and am having a hard time finding info on it. Does anyone have pictures of mounts they did? Thanks!

I finally went with the HMS AI mounts after DIYing mine

Thanks! We’re they worth it? I can’t do tv mounts with mine because my tank is angled in the corner

After all the messing around and expense, yes. The HMS mount were not out yet so I modified two Kessell goose neck mounts. I have a rimmed tank so I had to cut some of the plastic to mount the HMS mounts.

Are you looking to suspend them from the ceiling or mount them to the stand? If your looking at attaching to the stand. I did one that worked pretty good, you just should give a good coat of spray paint when done to keep corrosion down. I used stainless steel hardware when possible. The horizontal piece mounts with the stainless screw that came with them directly to the AI light fixture like they were made for them. Much cheaper than the AI version, not quite as easily adjusted, or as sturdy, but good for those on a limited budget.
