DIY overflow ideas

I have a frag tank that is under my display tank. I would like to plumb a 40 Breeder refugium next to it. My issue is they are at the same height and I won’t be able to drill the tanks. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work? I have an overflow box but with them being the same height I don’t believe it will work. Any diy pvc ideas?

A 40B is a quite large fuge.
Ever thought of how that would affect your nutrients for a frag tank?

Why not put a large HOB filter like a tidal 75 or bigger and make it into a refugium?

The frag tank is plumbed to my display tank which is 550G. My sump is in a closet and the frag tank is under my stand. So it would be easier to plumb the fuge to the frag tank

Just pipe the two together if the same height. Like a tunnel of pvc.
