as you wrote, I understand that LDDs only work with colors above 3V and yellow has 2V, correct?! then you said they work with LDD-LW(this one probably work below 3V) so can i mix LDD with LDD-LW? Do you have plates ready with this mixture?

Another question... If each LDD is for a color channel... If I buy other Pucks of Leds, can I connect them to the same LDD? or will i have to buy 8 LDDs for each puck?

I want to put 4 pucks little by little. Where is paint.

No, as the TC controllers can’t regulate voltage to act as a constant current drivers. People have used them as dimmers to LDDs.

You can run 2 to 3 off one ldd and 48 (44 effective) volt power supply.
13 v * 3 = 39 volts.

To run 4 you need 52v plus 4= 56 v power supply. About 250 watts(roughly calculated).
One ldd per channel.
You need ldd-h's though for that high of voltage.

The "A" or "AB" version is adj to 56v
50-57volts

As I wrote above and per Meanwell ldd-L and ldd-h spec sheet it did state 2 volt channel was ok

How to use a tc-420 or 421 with ldd's
12-24v is a cheap voltage regulator board from ebay.

Why 250w ? If 4 unit puck X 69w = 296
Too no understanded 13v × 3= 39. Volts what is 13v? Why X 3?

They aren't 69 watts each.

Watts = Volts x Amps.

13 volt string
4 deep blue diodes in series
3.25 volts each

+3.25...+3.25....+3.25.....+3.25....

13 * .7 = 9.1 watts

Do that for every channel
4 are 9.1w = 36.40
4.4 * .7 = 3.08
6.4 * .7 = 4.48
2.2 * .7 = 1.54
6.6 * .7 = 4.62

50.12 watts not 69 watts
200.48 watts for 4
Less if you use recommended 500 or 350 mA drivers for violet and UV.

69 used like peak current....1000 mA

What is Pro and Con tô put driver?
350... 500 no understand

Less par of light ?! Cors mix?!
My tank reef is 2,20m X 0.5m(altura) X 0,6

I have one maxspect 240 but and two nacional more less quality.

Easiest is 8 Ldd's.. 7 if you combine red and yellow.

Too bad. Do you have ebay?
Where are you?

You could use these but you would need. 28- 32 of them.
You would need to know how to measure the current and adjust accordingly.

Change back to 24v power supply.
I am from Brazil. I think so can buy ebay.
If i use LDD need o ly of 7 to 4 pucks. And if use this of aliexpress i will need of 28?!

Here in Brazil have website of buy (mercado livre) have any converter current . what specification should i look for to adapt that source that i buy from mean ? Why this supply power buy of aliexpress

I went to see the manufacturer's website and I'm suspecting that the difference between the 700H and the 700HW is just the wires... W(Wired)
