Anyone using one? I am wondering if I can do something temporarily with a phosban 150 reactor for a 125 g tank

It is possible to have Zeolite media in these kind of reactors. The key is to have enough flow and space inside the reactors so that the stones can be properly shaken up.

A Phosban 150 may not be enough space for 1.2 liters of Zeolight media. You may end up needing two of those.

Ah gotcha, I didnt think about room to be shaken up. I was going to possibly add a second larger pump to come on at certain times to flush the mulm.

That idea can work as long as there is actual agitation and the stones are being moved. Otherwise, the cleaning effect will be minimal.

What size pump are people using to flush the reactor? Does there need to be air pushed through as well?

You can use a slightly larger pump for flushing the media. For example, if you are running a 200gph pump to circulate water through the reactor, you can use a 300gph pump as the flush pump. Adding air will help clean the media even better.
