DIY Return pump cover

I just lost my Cor20 pump due to old use.

I have a Jebao DCP 15000 i had laying around that is in place. It doesnt have the cover to the propeller.

Anyone know of any DIY ideas to cover this pump? I can't find it anywhere!

You must be able to get parts for Jebao somewhere, no?

I would assume you have the different size hose connections that screw into the inlet?

Could you not just get a bulkhead strainer in the appropriate size to fit one of the hose connections?

Or even better is one of those mesh bags they put pond pumps in.

Or could you use egg crate grating and zip ties together to enclose the whole return pump? It will look very diy but should do the job.
