Hey everyone,

I'm picking up my Red Sea Reefer 170 this weekend and I have had my cement rocks curing in a river for about 3 weeks now. When everything is good to go I plan on going bare bottom. I obviously need to protect the glass from and rock slides. I want to epoxy and super glue my rocks and since it's just concrete I don't need them in water ASAP.

I was planning on using Gorilla glue and I wasn't sure what epoxy to use. What is the general cure time on this? And is cluing epoxy to the bottom of my rocks a good idea to prevent the bottom of my tank from getting scratched?

I don't know if it's necessary. I forget who I was watching recently but they brought up a good point about how it's not like we're dealing with fragile glass. The tanks are glass, sure, but it's glass that's built to withstand gallons upon gallons of water and pressure.

True, I'm less worried about a shatter, and more about scratches.

Plus, I was thinking about making some pillars with an overhang.
