I have an older style Elos with the triangle overflow. Looking for recommendations on how to connect the frames with triangle corners. The kits that came with the frames are 90 degrees. Appreciate your inputs.

May not be what you're looking for, but it looks like the area you want to cover is right over the overflow. If that is the case, why not glue or epoxy a thin piece of black plastic or acrylic over that spot. That would give you the added benefit of blocking light from reaching the overflow teeth, and stopping/slowing algae from growing.
 
I don't thing you're going to find any off the shelf parts to make a 45* angle. Only way I see would be to fabricate your own corner pieces and rivet them together.

I would do what the previous poster suggested.

Which kit is that ? The one your currently using.
