Hi everyone,

90 gallon tank, ballast for the t5s has died, have 2 gen4 30 pros to put over the tank. Ceiling is too high to hang them from the ceiling. Thinking I will just make a false ceiling over the tank and hang them from that. Here is a pic of the tank, also a pic of the "L" bracket thinking of using, it is 15 1/2" by 10 1/2", going to hang the lights about 16" from the wall, probably 10" over the tank. The bracket is rated to hold 1000 lbs, (I find that kind of amusing, but I should not have over 50 lbs or so of stuff on the bracket) so I don't feel uncomfortable. Correct me please if this sounds wrong.

How far from the wall should the shelf come out? It should go out farther than where the lights are hung from.

I should hang them from the multi-light RMS track or just hang them individually?

Any other ideas please suggest.
