I used bent 3/4 electrical conduit, spray painted it black, and

drilled the straps to the back of the biocube stand. Great fix if you don't want to hang it from the ceiling.

May want to raise it a little higher I'm not an expert but that would help stop the spotlight effect and spread the light more evenly most I think say 8 to 10 inches from water surface imo

I'll try that out! My mushroom was bleached before adding the light, when I took these pictures, and the pictures of the mushroom it had been about 15 minutes since I switched them over. And that was only about 3 hours ago. I had my biocube 14 with just this light above the waterline before and it always looked okay, and nothing ever bleached. I am reading that it is better to have it higher, though. Thank you for the advice :) :)

So much better

I didn't come up with this idea. This is the mount I used. I have the 165w wifi black box. The bracket fits perfectly in the middle without hitting anything.

It does extend from 12 inches up to 30 inches I think. I can adjust the angle front to back and left to right. Additionally, the bar can tilt up about 65 degrees, if it's in the way.
