DIY Stands

I know I saw a thread showing peoples home made stands, but I can't find it.
Any idea of forum/thread I should look for?
Have a furniture maker coming next week and want to be able to show him what others have built and how they built them.
It was a long thread, I just can't find it.
I really need access to it before he comes.

Sketch out your concept, then give it to the cabinet maker, ask for concept drawing back. If this person can not do it, then this is not your cabinet person. There is a difference between and guy that can build boxes and put pretty trim on it, then a guy the can actually make it. One other thing is to keep in mind, "you get what you pay for" get three bids and you know what to pay

Oh, and this really is not a cabinet makers trait, is when the build out of pine. Now there are different types of pine to build with, but not 2x4's
