diy sump build

hi guys,

gonna do a diy sump in a 20 gallon long. gonna get glass cut at local glass shop. anybody have any good diagrams or videos for a build. i will be using a hang on back skimmer so dont neccisarilly need a skimmer chamber.

How you do it will change based on what you want in your sump. If you don't want a skimmer chamber what are the glass panels even for? Make a refugium perhaps?

I would recommend leaving some area where you can put a skimmer in the future because being able to go to an in sump protein skimmer in the future will give you a lot more options for upgrading skimmer in the future.
