DIY sump OR trigger 26" sapphire?

I'm building my 100g tank and am so tossed with building a sump, or just biting the bullet and getting the 26" sapphire trigger that I can get for $250 rather than about 100$ to build a 20g long.... THOughts?

If that were me I would just get the trigger sump. Every time I try to save money in this hobby I end up rebuying stuff I just should of bought in the first place. Unless you have the building skills of making something very nice then go for it. I suck at really anything diy

A diy sump is actually pretty easy. If you're handy, go for it! Then you get to customize it exactly how you want it
