DIY Sump

Just wanted to share my DIY sump!! I have to do this because my stand doesn’t like any standard size tank. So instead of buying a bookshelf tank I decided to build one!

1/4” I figured once I put the baffles in it won’t bow and the baffles will pull it tight together.

No rim, just a lot of silicone. Not taping nothing off since it’s gonna be a sump!

I liked it so went ahead and glued it. Now time to dry, test, then hopefully install

All single pain just quite a bit of silicone!!

So I did put a little cross brace piece in as for peace of mind, you can see that where the white pvc is and that was just to hold it in place while it dried. Other than that worked out great!!
