DIY tank stand questions/concerns

So this is a stand I originally built for an Oceanic Hex tank that has since popped a seal and I’ve released to the Aquarium Gods.
I now have a 65gal Aqueon that is like to start a new mixed reef with.
to allow the fit I added the braces on left and was wondering if this is enough support for the 4 inches of tank spread.
please give any advice as I’m just leak testing for a bit my plumbing job and will be starting this tank extra slow and have time to update or correct where needed.
also would like to use that space for the electronics as well apex and such.

For anything over 30gallons, a stand that fully supports the tank frame for the whole length x width is preffered.
I would not use a stand that has narrower supports than the top supporting board.

You may be able to get away with it but at what risk?

I just noticed the supports are only on one side.
You could build a fully boxed enclosure down to the floor for the electronics you mentioned and have it support that whole side better than triangle braces.

Thanks that was the thought that I did have.
That way I could actually build an electronics cabinet that would fully support the tank.

I’d take this as an opportunity to build a new cabinet that works for your needs based on your experience of what worked, what you’d change, etc There are a lot of great threads about building stands — most seem to be way overbuilt (imho) but better to be too much than too little

A 3/4” plywood box (built properly) will support most tanks without a single 2x4.
