DIY tunze 5074 style reactor anyone?

So I just got the tunze osmolator 3155 thinking it would work with Kalk. But it seems it would be a pain replacing pumps due to the Kalk.
My options are to:
1) return the 3155 and continue to drip Kalk in my current system.
2) buy the tunze 5074.
3) DIY the 5074.
I like the 3rd myself but I would want to go longer than a week between refills of Kalk so I would make the container bigger.

Anyone use the 5074 and have opinions on it? Anyone diy there own?

I don't have a problem with the weekly refills, I just wish it was easier to get the powder into the reactor.

I think I would suggest going with the 5074 and trying to spend some creative DIY-energy on making it so easy to use that you aren't bothered by it.
