I just mount it today, still waiting for lenses. It's taking forever, appreciate your comments.

Yea I didn't have one, this is the only thread. Waited forever for LEDs and supply etc, build thread would be bad just the wait. Is it me or Cree XPG is hard to come by.

What degree optics will you be using?

Looking great so far!

I have thought about using T5 style reflector, I think there are single LED dome reflectors that would probably do the same thing. I am using Reefbrite's with MH for now, but may eventually build one like yours.

I will be using very tight 45 degree, I will hang it higher for better spread. So far LED can light my tank just fine without lenses, CREE XPG R5 bin are super bright. With lense I will hang it higher not to bleach the corals.

BTW I only wish LED can be more flexible with color combination compare with T5 but LED rocks, I like the array look rather one big reflector light or long tube of t5. I only miss T5 color combination and cool name like FIJI purple, mid day etc.

What are the dimensions of your tank?

Nice, I am actually working on getting the parts together to do my 75 with XP-G and XP-Es (for the blue). How many LEDs are you running there? I'm putting together a GB on Nano reef for Carclo XP optics (70 degree in particular) if you are interested, works out to about $1.50 ea. (maybe less) with optic holders before shipping.
