DJ's Mixed Reef - bacteria driven system

Inside my canopy. Yeah... I know... kind of messy and ugly :(

What on earth that hanging bottle doing in there?

What an ugly light you have!.

You need to learn cable management my friend!.

That's a really nice tank! I think it's awesome how you can go out to the ocean and pick whatever you want. I'm definitely jealous!

Thanks man. Yup, the only drawback is holding the urge to a bigger tank since getting a specimen from the sea is like doing your shopping at the super market.

My home made Arduino lighting controller. Arduino UNO with some relay boards, switching 4 number of LED drivers ON/OFF at specific time. Fully programmable from the front panel. Fan automatically turn on when any driver is ON, and OFF once all light is in night mode. I still have my PWM module I made for my previous CBB.

The "*" on the LCD display indicate the cooling fans are ON.

Inside my tank cabinet. Yeah... I know. Doesn't get any better than my canopy.

P/S: That skimmer was no longer in there. That tall white thingy was my previous denitrator. When my fountain pump failed, I made a new one much shorter with the intention of hooking up a doser. Lazy bones doesn't help at all, maybe one day I will ;)

Hi @Donovan Joannes .
What a beautiful and extremely mix reef tank you have.
Congratulations!
Can you detail on your DIY led system?
Like how many LEDs, which colors and how many for each, etc. I am curious about your spectrum choice.
Thanks.

Thanks for the compliment. I can't remember the exact combi. I will check it out tonight and revert to you. Here is how it looks when the drivers are individually fired. It's a 3 channels, but as you can see on the controller picture, they overlapping each other at several time of the day.

@teller

My LED layout. This is 1/3 of the total LEDs I am currently running. I like a warmer look, SPS color will be darker. If you prefer pastel color, this layout is not for you. With 90 degree lenses, water surface will receive around 120K lux.
