I just got off work and noticed my apex alert. I’m thinking about doing a water change to correct this or do you guys think I should let it ride off?

advice guys, thanks

What is your DKH normally at? How much of a departure does that level represent? How did it get to that level?

Those are three more important questions. If you're normally at 12.75, and you're now at 12.88, then that's nothing to be concerned about. If you're normally at 9.5 and you're suddenly at 12.88, you might have a problem.

I increased dos to 15ml more and this is the result

I'd do a water change then.

Most likely, either your DOS got stuck open or you accidentally typed the units in wrong, but either way that sounds to me like you overdosed your ALK reagent.

I just got home and did a manual test. It’s at 9 dkh so the trident is off.

Trident is saying Bad Alk Reading now , and says 0 Dkh. Great ... trident going out

When did you last calibrate it? How full are your reagents?

There is a little bit of natural drift to the Trident, so recalibrating after each reagent change can help keep it in line. And if your reagent is low, you can get air in the reagent line, which will throw off your test readings.
